Yongpyeong is a famous ski resort located 200km away or about 3 hours from Seoul. The resort is located in Daegwallyeong-myeon, Pyeongchang, Gangwon-do of South Korea. This is also one of the shooting locations for the K-drama “Winter Sonata”

Yongpyeong is the best place to play ski and snowboarding. A new feature is Dragon Park (Terrain Park), a theme park with half-pipe, quarter-pipe, ramp, table top, spine, wash board, rail slider, mogul, and wave. The resort also holds the Fun Ski & Snow Festival every year in partnership with the Korea Tourism Organization.

The Yongpyong Resort is about 200km from Seoul, the capital city of south Korea. With an annual snowfall average of 250cm, which allows a wide array of winter sports. It has a 45 hole golf course, 31 ski slopes, premium hotels and many other leisure facilities. It is famous for being the part of filming places for Korean TV drama “Winter Sonata”, the resort offers a special tour for tourists, you can see the cafe, restaurant, hotel lobby, the ski slope and some other filming sites which were in the TV drama. Also you can take photos with Bae YongJoon and Choi Ji Woo’s photos.
